Lee Dein is the founder and creator of the Magic Link Handwriting Programme. Lee graduated as a speech and language therapist in 1984. She has since remained a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist. In 1986, she attained the RSA diploma to teach pupils with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia) and has been teaching children for over 30 years.

Lee is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and has an enhanced DBS check. She is a member of PATTOS (The Professional Association of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties) She is a member of the National Handwriting Association – a charity whose aims are to raise the importance of handwriting and to promote good practice in the teaching of handwriting.

Cynthia Pelman is a speech and language therapist with over 25 years’ experience of working with children and adults. She has written three books which are fictional accounts of the challenges children face when they have speech or language difficulties. Cynthia is registered with the Health and Care Professions Councils in the U.K. and in South Africa and has a current DBS certificate.  Cynthia sees children in her office in Golders Green, North West London.

Bozena is an experienced dyslexia consultant and advisor with over 20 years’ experience of working with children as a teacher/tutor. She has a vast amount of experience in SpLD, especially dyslexia.  She is a member of PATOSS (Professional Association for Teachers and Assessors of Students with SpLD).  Weekly lessons take place in Shipley.

Laura Newman

Laura is a Child Specialist, with 25 years combined experience in Speech & Language Therapy, Health Education and Parent Consultancy.

Laura founded Connected Child to support and empower parents to raise their children to reach their highest potential, specialising in children of all ages, with challenges in communication and behaviour.

Her clients include parents who are looking for effective parenting strategies and emotional support for their children, whether they have no diagnosis or have specific issues, including autism, stammering, speech disorder, delayed language development, dyslexia, sibling rivalry, aggression, anxiety, fussy eaters and poor sleepers, under-achievers, and literacy issues.

Laura is from London, UK and lives in Portugal, offering online courses and consultations, as well as working with local children and parents. She is the only trained Magiclink Handwriting provider in Portugal.
